Welcome to Gold Bowl

215 Center St, Little Rock, AR 72201, United States

General Info

Located at 215 Center St, Little Rock, AR 72201, United States, Gold Bowl is a ramen restaurant that offers a relaxed place to enjoy comforting Japanese-inspired dishes in the heart of the city. The moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels calm and unpretentious. The dining space leans toward a quiet setting, which makes it a pleasant choice whether you are meeting friends, coming with a small group, or simply stopping by for dinner after a long day downtown.

One thing that stands out right away is how approachable the menu feels. Gold Bowl focuses on satisfying ramen bowls and a handful of well-loved Asian favorites. During my visit, the Chashu Ramen immediately caught my attention. The broth was rich and aromatic, and the slices of chashu pork were tender enough to melt into the noodles. It’s the kind of bowl that feels hearty without being overwhelming, making it easy to see why many regulars come back for it.

Another popular option on the menu is the Chicken Ramen, which offers a lighter but still flavorful alternative. The broth is smooth and balanced, while the chicken adds a comforting, familiar taste that works well with the noodles. For diners who enjoy variety, the menu also features items beyond ramen. The General TSO's Chicken is a favorite among visitors who want something bold and slightly sweet with a bit of crisp texture.

Small plates round out the experience nicely. The Takoyaki arrives warm and savory, with a soft interior that contrasts with its lightly crisp outside. It’s perfect for sharing with friends or ordering alongside ramen for a fuller meal. Another item worth trying is the Steam Buns, which are soft, fluffy, and filled with satisfying flavors that complement the main dishes well.

Gold Bowl also offers practical conveniences that make visiting easy. The location provides wheelchair accessible parking, which helps ensure that more guests can comfortably enjoy the space. Since it sits in a busy downtown area, paid street parking is available nearby. The restaurant works well for groups, yet it still maintains a peaceful environment that doesn’t feel overly loud or rushed.

From the welcoming atmosphere to the comforting bowls of ramen, Gold Bowl delivers a straightforward dining experience centered around flavorful food and a relaxed setting. The menu, location, and overall dining environment make it a dependable spot in Little Rock for anyone craving ramen or a casual dinner with friends. Reviews from visitors often highlight the cozy vibe and satisfying dishes, and after spending time there, it’s easy to understand why the restaurant continues to attract both locals and travelers exploring the area.

What customers say?

“ You need to go here and get yourself a delicious bowl of ramen. The roast duck ramen, chashu ramen, and kimchi ramen are all worth your time and money. They also have the best takoyaki in town. I know the rest of their menu is great but I just can't pass up their ramen. The service is friendly and I have never walked out of this place dissatisfied or disappointed. Gold Bowl is well worth your time and money because they are doing great things in that kitchen. ”

“ Best ramen in Little Rock, AR, hands down. My boyfriend and I always get the spicy miso. It’s phenomenal. I’ve recommended this place to many friends who also love it ”

- Cora Ashley -

“ A laid back eatery with casual counter ordering. Sear yourself and refill your own drinks, but that doesn't take away from the food. We ordered Spicy Miso per the previous poitive reviews. Very pleasant on a cold day. Taro milk tea and strawberry milk tea were great too ”

- Taylor Haston -

“ The interior is very sterile. Instructions are clewr when you walk in. Menus are taped to the wall. Research the menu online prior to going. There is no alcohol served and canned/bottled sodas and teas are available. There is a great vault door in there. Which is the best interior design feature. The food was good. I wish I would have added some veggies to my ramen, I was missing a crunch. ”

- FeedMeSeymour -

“ I got the chicken katsu ramen and takoyaki and my friend got the beef ramen. It was his first time eating actual non instant ramen and he liked it. I enjoyed my meal and the prices seem to be standard compared to other ramen locations ”

- HedgeHodge “HodgePodge” -

“ Stopped by here from out of town and I must say no regrets! We tried an assortment of Ramen so yummy! The best thing we tried had to be the orange chicken ”

- Jakie Arellano -

“ Ordered the Beef Chow Mei Fun and it was by far one of the most delicious authentic Chinese meals I've ever had. See, I used Google Maps' ratings system to find this place and although it was a bit pricey it was definitely worth it. This is the second highest rated Chinese place in Pulaski County (the first was in Park Hill and closed on Sundays). The cashier was very nice and charismatic, our table was clean, our food was ready very quickly. There is literally not even the smallest negative or even neutral comment I can make about this place. If I could give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would! ”

- Jake Johnson -

“ I got the orange chicken. It was incredible. The restaurant is a little dry as far as decorations and atmosphere but it is an incredible spot. My wife got the Shoyu Ramen and it was really good. The chicken was very tender and the noodles perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend and will be back with friends and family. ”
